Fini Dance Post-Graduate Company Program

ITALY + NEW YORK | JUNE – DECEMBER 2027

“You don’t just train with the company. You become part of the company.”

From Student to Professional

Graduating with a dance degree is an accomplishment — but for most dancers, it is also the hardest moment of their careers. Professional companies look for dancers who are already performance-ready, who have stage experience beyond school productions, and who come recommended by people they trust. Too many talented graduates find themselves caught in the gap: not yet seasoned enough to be hired, and without the connections to get seen.

The FINI DANCE Post-Graduate Company Program was created to close that gap.

This six-month professional company experience is designed for dancers completing an undergraduate dance degree, conservatory training, or equivalent professional preparation. Participants form the performing company of the FINI DANCE Festival — an international dance festival connecting artists, choreographers, teachers and companies between Italy and New York.

Over six months, dancers train daily, rehearse, learn repertory, take part in new creations, perform, teach, and live the day-to-day responsibilities of a professional dance organization. They leave with the technique, stamina, stage experience, professional skills and network that companies look for.

Work Alongside World-Renowned Artists

Throughout the program, the company works with world-renowned dancers and artists from celebrated companies including:

  • Martha Graham Dance Company
  • Jennifer Muller/The Works
  • Michael Mao Dance
  • Paul Taylor Dance
  • Parsons Dance
  • Dzul Dance
  • Staten Island Ballet
  • National Ballet of Kosovo
  • Abarukas Dance
  • Limon Dance Company
  • Nai – Ni chen dance company

Dancers also perform alongside FINI DANCE Company dancers under the direction of Artistic Director Antonio Fini. These are the relationships that open doors — and in this program, you build them in the studio and on the stage, not from the audience.
