The competition, Campionato delle Arti Fini Dance, organized by the amateur sports association Alto Jonio Dance, with the patronage of the CSAIN Regional Committee, is a great opportunity for the dancer to be seen by the most important exponents of dance and receive great prizes.

Divided into categories and sections for soloists, duo and groups, the competition awards prizes and scholarships for the most important centers in Italy, Europe and New York.

Furthermore, every year, thanks to the Marcobaleno association, the best dancers receive the flight ticket to New York City as a prize.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Registration deadline: July 1, 2025

Registration will be possible until the time available runs out.

Send us a request email to info@finidance.nyc

Fill out the form for each choreography you want to register, indicating the members (name, surname, age).

Make a bank transfer to the indicated account to pay the registration fees, send us the receipt specifying the date you will participate and the name (or names) of those performing.

MAXIMUM DURATION OF CHOREOGRAPHY
– Solo: 120 sec. (2 minutes)
– Duo: 180 sec. (3 minutes)
– Group: 240 sec. (4 minutes)

NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE MAXIMUM TIME ARE ALLOWED

HOW TO SEND THE TRACK

The music for the Battle must be sent by July 5th exclusively via the wetransfer service in .Mp3 or .Mp4 format to info@finidance.nyc.

Each file must be renamed as follows:

– SURNAME AND NAME soloist, School – TITLE CHOREOGRAPHY.mp3

for groups:

– GROUP SCHOOL – TITLE CHOREOGRAPHY.mp3

(you can use an online audio converter if you need it).

The tracks must also be delivered on the day of the Battle on a USB stick if requested.

REGISTRATION METHOD
To participate, you must:

Send a request email to info@finidance.nyc no later than July 1, 2025;
Send the bank receipt of the registration fees by email;
Send the choreography data and songs in mp3 format by July 5, 2025;
For participants who do NOT attend the Summer Intensive, it is also necessary to enter their personal data;
Have and keep at your school the medical certificate for each member.

The form must be filled out for each choreography that you intend to register, indicating the members.

Registration for the Competition will be possible until the time available runs out.

Dancers must show up at least 15 minutes before the start of the competition, to register their presence.

MINI (from 6 to 9 years old)

CANCELLATION OF EVENT AND PARTICIPATION
The organizers may cancel or move the entire event if there are causes of force majeure. Fees are not refundable, but can be used for the next event within 1 year of the original registration.

The organization reserves the right to make changes to these regulations for a better success of the event.

We are exempt from any printing errors.

It is strictly forbidden to make audio-video recordings during the competition.

Regulation Fini Dance International Competition

REGISTER METHOD
In order to participate you must:
1) Send an email request to info@finidance.nyc no later than July 4, 2023;
2) Send via email the bank accounting of the registration fees;
3) Send the choreography data and songs in mp3 format via email by 10 July 2023;
4) Be in possession of and keep the medical certificate for each student at the school headquarters.

CATEGORIES
The following dance disciplines are admitted: Classical, Character, Modern/Contemporary/Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap Dance.
The participants are divided into categories: MINI (from 6 to 9 years) – CHILDREN (from 10 to 13 years) – JUNIORES (from 14 to 17 years) – SENIORES (from 18 years and over).

MAXIMUM CHOREOGRAPHY DURATION
Solo 2 min.;
duo 2:30 min.;
Group 3:30 min.;
Choreographic Composition 6 min..
N.B. A penalty will be applied after exceeding 30 seconds. If the playing time is exceeded, the direction is authorized to fade the music.

PARTICIPATION FEES
SOLO: €90.00
DUO: €80.00 (to be divided among the participants)
GROUP: €30.00 per person
From the second choreography onwards (performed by the same participant or group) a 50% discount is applied. The solo is always considered the 1st choreography compared to the other formations, as well as the duo compared to the group.
The fees must be paid by 4 July 2023, by bank transfer to Monte dei Paschi di Siena payable to:

MUSIC
Showcase music must be submitted in .Mp3/.Mp4 format only to info@finidance.nyc. It must also be delivered on the day of the Showcase in a USB stick if requested.

JURIES AND EVALUATION CRITERIA
The Juries will be made up of internationally renowned teachers, choreographers and dancers. JURY DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

AWARDS
All categories will be awarded with certificates: the most deserving will be awarded scholarships for international artistic centers in Europe and America, such as Fini Dance New York, Martha Graham Dance School, Paul Taylor Dance School, Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, Staten Island Ballet, Carcano Theater Choreographic Studies Center, Malaga Workshop Spain. For the best dancer, a share of prize airfare will be made available to New York and there will be a special prize for the best choreography.

CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT AND PARTICIPATION
The organizers will be able to cancel or move the entire event if there are causes of force majeure. The fees are non-refundable, but can be used for the next event within 1 year of the original registration.

The organization reserves the right to make changes to these regulations for a better outcome of the event.

We are relieved of any printing errors.

It is strictly forbidden to film audio-video during the competition.

Regulation Fini Dance International Competition 2021

Art.1 – PARTICIPATION. In order to participate you must: 1) send a request email to info@finidance.nyc no later than 1 July (END OF PERENTORY). 2) FILL IN the registration form and the attached documents. 3) PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT.

Art.2 – CATEGORIES. Participants in the Showcase / competition are divided into four categories: MINI (from 6 to 9 years) – CHILDREN (from 10 to 13 years) – JUNIORES (from 14 to 17 years) – SENIORES (from 18 years upwards) in Disciplines: Dance Classical, Character, Modern / Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap Dance.

Art.3 – CHOREOGRAPHY DURATION. Solos: 2:30 minutes; Duet: 3 minutes; Group: 4 minutes; Choreographic Composition: 6 minutes.. N.B. the penalty will be applied after the excess of 30 seconds. If the time runs out, the direction is authorized to fade the music.

Art.4 – PARTICIPATION FEES. SOLOS: € 80.00; DUO: € 80.00 (to be divided among the participants); GROUPS: € 30.00 per person. From the second choreography onwards (performed by the same participant or group) applies a 35% discount. N. B. The solo is always considered as the first choreography. Showcase registrations expire on July 1st. The fees must be paid no later than 1 July 2021, by bank transfer to A.S.D. Alto Jonio Dance: IT10R0103081080000001218596 with clearly indicated “Name/group/school + Competition21”.

Art.4.1 Send by email to info@finidance.nyc including: A) copy of the participant’s identity document (parent if a minor), B) the completed and signed participation form (downloaded once the registration form has been completed online), C) Receipt of payment if by bank transfer. The original form must also be submitted on the day of the competition.

Art.5 – TESTS no stage rehearsals are foreseen.

Art.6 – MUSIC the music must be sent exclusively in .Mp3 /.Mp4 format at info@finidance.nyc, within one week of the competition date. It must also be hand delivered on the day of the Showcase/competition in a USB stick if requested.

Art.7 – JURIES AND EVALUATION CRITERIA. The Juries will be made up of internationally renowned teachers, choreographers and dancers. THE DECISIONS OF THE JURY ARE NOT APPEALABLE.

Art.8 – AWARDS. All categories will be awarded with certificates: the most deserving will be awarded scholarships for international centers in Europe and America such as Fini Dance New York, Martha Graham Dance School, Paul Taylor Dance School, Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, Staten Island Ballet, Carcano Theater Choreographic Studies Center, Malaga Workshop Spain. For the best dancer, a fee will be made available per award air ticket to New York and there will be a special award for the best choreography.

Art.9 – INSURANCE. The organization is not responsible for any injury to participants, teachers or the public inside the theater, dressing rooms, school, backstage and stage. 9.1 Each participant must sign the REGISTRATION / SELF-CERTIFICATION APPLICATION in which he declares to assume the responsibility / risk of any injuries by relieving the managers of the event (Fini Production LLC and Asd Alto Jonio Dance and Ass. Culturale IFCA) from any civil and/or criminal liability in their own person or by any entitled person.

Art.10 – ACCESS TO THE ROOMS. Only dancers and accompanying persons will be able to access the dressing rooms.

Art.11 – CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT AND PARTICIPATION. The organizers will be able to cancel or move the entire event in the event of force majeure, and the fees will not be returned and the organization may also make changes to these regulations for a better outcome of the event.
