Art.1 – PARTICIPATION. In order to participate you must: 1) send a request email to info@finidance.nyc no later than 1 July (END OF PERENTORY). 2) FILL IN the registration form and the attached documents. 3) PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT.
Art.2 – CATEGORIES. Participants in the Showcase / competition are divided into four categories: MINI (from 6 to 9 years) – CHILDREN (from 10 to 13 years) – JUNIORES (from 14 to 17 years) – SENIORES (from 18 years upwards) in Disciplines: Dance Classical, Character, Modern / Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap Dance.
Art.3 – CHOREOGRAPHY DURATION. Solos: 2:30 minutes; Duet: 3 minutes; Group: 4 minutes; Choreographic Composition: 6 minutes.. N.B. the penalty will be applied after the excess of 30 seconds. If the time runs out, the direction is authorized to fade the music.
Art.4 – PARTICIPATION FEES. SOLOS: € 80.00; DUO: € 80.00 (to be divided among the participants); GROUPS: € 30.00 per person. From the second choreography onwards (performed by the same participant or group) applies a 35% discount. N. B. The solo is always considered as the first choreography. Showcase registrations expire on July 1st. The fees must be paid no later than 1 July 2021, by bank transfer to A.S.D. Alto Jonio Dance: IT10R0103081080000001218596 with clearly indicated “Name/group/school + Competition21”.
Art.4.1 Send by email to info@finidance.nyc including: A) copy of the participant’s identity document (parent if a minor), B) the completed and signed participation form (downloaded once the registration form has been completed online), C) Receipt of payment if by bank transfer. The original form must also be submitted on the day of the competition.
Art.5 – TESTS no stage rehearsals are foreseen.
Art.6 – MUSIC the music must be sent exclusively in .Mp3 /.Mp4 format at info@finidance.nyc, within one week of the competition date. It must also be hand delivered on the day of the Showcase/competition in a USB stick if requested.
Art.7 – JURIES AND EVALUATION CRITERIA. The Juries will be made up of internationally renowned teachers, choreographers and dancers. THE DECISIONS OF THE JURY ARE NOT APPEALABLE.
Art.8 – AWARDS. All categories will be awarded with certificates: the most deserving will be awarded scholarships for international centers in Europe and America such as Fini Dance New York, Martha Graham Dance School, Paul Taylor Dance School, Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, Staten Island Ballet, Carcano Theater Choreographic Studies Center, Malaga Workshop Spain. For the best dancer, a fee will be made available per award air ticket to New York and there will be a special award for the best choreography.
Art.9 – INSURANCE. The organization is not responsible for any injury to participants, teachers or the public inside the theater, dressing rooms, school, backstage and stage. 9.1 Each participant must sign the REGISTRATION / SELF-CERTIFICATION APPLICATION in which he declares to assume the responsibility / risk of any injuries by relieving the managers of the event (Fini Production LLC and Asd Alto Jonio Dance and Ass. Culturale IFCA) from any civil and/or criminal liability in their own person or by any entitled person.
Art.10 – ACCESS TO THE ROOMS. Only dancers and accompanying persons will be able to access the dressing rooms.
Art.11 – CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT AND PARTICIPATION. The organizers will be able to cancel or move the entire event in the event of force majeure, and the fees will not be returned and the organization may also make changes to these regulations for a better outcome of the event.
