The Fini Dance Art Championship and the Urban Power Championship are organised by the amateur sports association Alto Jonio Dance, under the patronage of the CSAIN Regional Committee, and represent a great opportunity for dancers to be seen by leading figures in the Dance world and to win major prizes.

They are divided into categories and sections for solos, duos and groups. During the competitions, prizes and scholarships are awarded to the most important dance centres in Italy, in Europe and in New York.

Each year, thanks to the association Marcobaleno, the best dancers receive a contribution towards the airfare to New York City as a prize.

HOW TO SIGN UP

Registration deadline: July 5, 2026

Registration will remain open until the available time slots are filled.

Send us a request email at concorso@finidance.nyc to check the availability of spots in both competitions.

Fill out one form for each choreography you wish to register, listing the participants (first name, last name, age).

Make a bank transfer to the account indicated to pay the registration fees. Send us the payment receipt, specifying the date of participation, the names of the performers, and the school they represent.

MAXIMUM CHOREOGRAPHY DURATION

URBAN POWER SOLO COMPETITION: 120 sec. (2 minutes)

URBAN POWER CREW COMPETITION: 240 sec. (4 minutes) – “clean versions” preferred

HOW TO UPLOAD THE MUSIC TRACK

The music for the showcase must be submitted by July 5, 2026 in .Mp3 or .Mp4 format using the → ONLINE FORM

Each file must be renamed as follows:

– SURNAME and FIRST NAME of soloist, School – CHOREOGRAPHY TITLE.mp3

for different formations:

– FORMATION (plus surnames for the duo), School – CHOREOGRAPHY TITLE.mp3

(you can use an online audio converter if needed).

Tracks must also be delivered on a USB drive on the day of the Competition if requested.

JURY

The Juries will be composed of internationally renowned teachers, choreographers, and dancers. THE JURY’S DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING.

Cash prizes will be paid by bank transfer by October 31, 2026, upon submission by the winners, at their own responsibility, of all banking details required for the procedure to the following address: concorso@finidance.nyc

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

To take part, the following are required:

Send a request email to concorso@finidance.nyc by no later than 5 July 2026 to confirm availability of places;
Send the bank payment receipt for the registration fees by email;
Send the choreography details and audio tracks in mp3 format by email by 5 July 2026;
For all participants it is necessary to enter the personal data as well ENTER PERSONAL DATA →;
Hold and keep at the school’s premises a valid medical certificate for each registered participant.

The form must be completed for each choreography to be entered, indicating its performers.

Registration for the Competition will be possible until the allotted time is fully booked.

N.B. Registration is completed once the registration fee has been paid and the choreography details have been submitted.

Dancers must arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the competition, for registration purposes.

MUSIC

The audio track must be sent by 5 July 2026 via the ONLINE FORM → https://forms.gle/PoqiCYm1VMHH9ncYA.
Each file must be renamed as follows: “SURNAME&NAME solo or duo (or SCHOOL for groups) + CHOREOGRAPHY TITLE”. It must also be handed in on the day of the Showcase on a USB stick if requested.

JUDGING PANELS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA

The juries will be composed of teachers, choreographers and dancers of international renown. THE JURY’S DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND NOT SUBJECT TO APPEAL.

Cash prizes will be paid by bank transfer by 31 October 2026, upon receipt, sent by the winners themselves and at their own responsibility, of all necessary bank details to the following address: concorso@finidance.nyc

CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT AND PARTICIPATION

The organisers may cancel or reschedule the entire event should force‑majeure circumstances occur. Entry fees are not refundable, but may be used for the following edition within 1 year from the original registration.

The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the present regulations in order to ensure the event’s success.

Any printing errors are disclaimed.

Participants and the audience are required to credit the Festival @finidancenewyork, the Artistic Director @antoniofininyc, and the photographer @Antonella Cordaro when publishing photos and videos on social media.
