The Review on Stage
The Fini Dance New York – Speciale Firenze Showcase returns to danzainfiera, a non-competitive event open to dancers over the age of 11, who will have the opportunity to showcase their talent on the Danzainfiera stage.
The purpose of the event is not competitive, so no one will be judged and there will be no rankings. Artistic Director Antonio Fini and his assistants will attend the performances, and at their discretion will award, not as prizes but as special recognition and contributions for commitment and participation, scholarships for internships/workshops Fini Dance and its international partners.

If the duration of the file sent exceeds the maximum minutes indicated during registration, a penalty will be applied.

SHOWCASE RULES
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
To participate, you have to:
- Send an email to ita@finidance.nyc to request registration and verify time availability for performances;
- Send the bank receipt of the registration fees by email;
- Send the choreography and music track data in MP3 format by January 30, 2026;
- Have and keep at your school the medical certificate for each registered student;
- Fill out the form for each choreography you intend to register, indicating its components and their age.
Registration for the Showcase will be possible until the time available runs out.
Registrations may be closed before the deadline if the time available is exhausted.
Dancers must show up at least 15 minutes before the start of the showcase, to register their presence.
CATEGORIES
The Showcase is open to Dancers aged 11 and older.
The following Dance Disciplines are admitted: Classical, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tip Tap.

It must also be available and delivered on the day of the Showcase in the USB Stick if requested.

AWARDS
At the end of the trade fair, the opinions given by the showcase jury will be processed and the results will be sent to participants via the contact details indicated during registration and published on the finidance.nyc website
CANCELLATION OF EVENT AND PARTICIPATION
The organizers may cancel or move the entire event in the event of force majeure. Fees are not refundable, but can be used for the next event within 1 year of the original registration.
The organization reserves the right to make changes to this regulation for a better success of the event.
We are exempt from any printing errors.
It is strictly forbidden to make audio-video recordings during the competition.
WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE
During danzainfiera, participants are invited to create a dance improvisation video on the Floorwings mat, located at the Floorwings stand in front of the official Floorwings banner.

The 10 best videos will be reposted on Fini Dance and Floorwings channels.
Among these, the 5 videos with the most interactions (likes, views, engagement) will advance to the final stage.

FLOORWINGS DANCE CHALLENGE RULES
The FINI PRODUCTION LLC, headquartered at 371 Edgecombe Ave apt 4D – 10031 New York, NY – tax id 47-5640898, aims to encourage young dancers to showcase their creativity by rewarding participants who create a dance improvisation video during danzainfiera 2026 on the Floorwings mat, located at the Floorwings stand in front of the official Floorwings banner.
PERIOD: From February 20 to 28, 2026
PARTICIPANTS: Dancers aged 14 and older.
PRIZES:
- 50% scholarships to the Fini Dance International Summer School for worthy performances selected from those published, at the discretion of the Fini Production LLC Team.
- ONE 100% scholarship to the Fini Dance New York International Summer School for the best performance identified by Antonio Fini.
CONTEST OBJECT
This social contest is dedicated to dancers to showcase their creativity and rewards improvisation: participants must improvise a short dance performance (30–60 seconds) on the Floorwings mat, film it in front of the official banner, and then post the video on Instagram or TikTok.
PARTICIPATION RULES
To participate:
- Record an improvisation video on the Floorwings mat.
- Post it on Instagram or TikTok.
- Tag @finidancenewyork, @floorwings and @antoniofininyc (without using the collaboration feature).
- Follow all three profiles.
- You must indicate the session in which the video is recorded and your details to be contacted, by registering via ONLINE FORM https://finidance.nyc/portfolio-articoli/speciale-firenze/#iscriviti-challenge
Each session has a duration of 1 hour.
A maximum of 30 participants is permitted per session, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Only one booking per person is allowed.
Only videos complying with these rules will be admitted.
Posting deadline: February 28, 2026
PERFORMANCE SELECTION
Each video must meet all the following conditions:
- must last at least 30 seconds, maximum 60 seconds (one minute);
- must be posted on Instagram and/or TikTok social platforms
- must mention @finidancenewyork, @floorwings and @antoniofininyc without using the collaboration feature
- the account posting the video must follow the social profiles @finidancenewyork, @floorwings and @antoniofininyc
Every video meeting the above criteria will be reviewed by FINI PRODUCTION LLC, and 10 videos will be selected at the organization’s sole discretion. The 5 videos with the most interactions (likes, views, engagement) among those selected will be technically judged by Antonio Fini, who will choose the best performance, awarding a 100% scholarship to the Fini Dance New York International Summer School.
At the discretion of the Fini Production LLC Team, additional prizes and recognitions may be awarded for worthy performances among videos meeting the participation requirements.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
Winners will be contacted via email at the address used for participation.
MAIN PRIZE CONDITIONS
The main prize consists of a 100% scholarship to attend the Fini Dance New York International Summer School, valid for one dancer, from August 22 to September 2, 2026, during the Fini Dance Festival.
The prize is non-refundable, non-convertible to cash, and dates cannot be modified or postponed.
Travel, meals, lodging, airport transfers, local transport, and any other personal expenses are fully borne by the winner.
The winner may opt for an optional flight & lodging package offered by FINI PRODUCTION.
The winner may be accompanied by others, who must cover their full travel, show, and party expenses.
Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, who is fully responsible for their expenses.
The winner is responsible for all documentation required for entry into the United States, including passport, visa (if required), and any authorizations. The organization is not liable if the prize cannot be used due to personal or documentary issues.
Winners will be notified via email after verification of requirements.
The prize will be issued by December 31, 2026.
